Success Tip # 4 (Log everything)

During my long weight loss journey of 46 years, I have enjoyed logging everything. I wanted to have my weight at particular times of my life. I wanted to know how I was exercising and how I was doing. I wanted to know my medical numbers too. What was my Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, Blood pressure etc. The steps that I was doing on a daily basis. Weekly.

When you log everything, you begin to know yourself inside out. You know how things work. You know when you are using a great technique and you know when things are not working out. I like looking through my logs. Sometimes, I find something that had previously worked and that I had forgotten about. I truly believe that logging keeps you accountable. Logging helps you be a success, at least it has helped me. In this digital world that we live in, it does not matter what you use, just do it! Use your cell phone, your laptop, your tablet or old fashion paper and pen. What you choose to use does not matter, just log it.
